This weekend at Stars Field the softball team will be hosting a tournament fielding a team from each of our bordering states. The Chargers will book-end Friday’s and Saturday’s slate of games, and this will be your first chance to see the team compete at home.
The Chargers will open up the tournament against Gadsden State (Ala.) at 9AM Friday morning and the nightcap will feature the Chargers facing Chipola College (Fla.) at 7PM. Then on Saturday the Chargers welcome USC Sumter (S.C.) at 9AM and close out the weekend’s slate against Spartanburg Methodist (S.C.) at 7PM.

Directions to Stars Field: From Joe Frank Harris, drive like you’re going toward Rome, but continue driving past the Rome exit for about 1 1/2 to 2 miles. You will see Stars Elementary and the bus depot on the right, the field is beside the elementary school.
