Compliance Training

Georgia Highlands College operates in a complex environment with federal, state and local guidelines, policies, laws and agency oversight. Penalties for violating laws can be severe, even when it is a result of a good faith mistake. For this reason, all employees must be vigilant about being compliant with the laws and regulations that govern our institution.

Although most employees are aware and understand the policies that apply to their specific role in the organization, there are still many legal requirements that may not be readily apparent unless researched. In order to provide a means for employees to refresh their understanding of ethical and legal obligations, Georgia Highlands College provides Annual Compliance Training. Your cooperation in the timely completion of this training plays an important part in the institution’s overall compliance with established requirements.

GHC’s Annual Compliance Training and the BOR Ethics Refresher courses are now located in D2L. If you have not already used D2L, instructions are attached. Each training module contains a compliance quiz. Failure to complete the compliance quiz will result in an incomplete status for that module.
