Summer Poetry Nights Series Returns!

Our first Poetry Night of Summer 2013 returns on Thursday, May 30, at 7:00 p.m. on the New and Improved stage of the Schroeder’s courtyard on Broad Street in downtown Rome.

Robert S. King, poet and former owner of FutureCycle Press, will read from his new collection. Rupert Fike joins him–Rupert has a poem inscribed on a downtown Atlanta memorial–maybe he’ll tell us the story behind that if we ask him. Also, Marsha Mathews drives down from Dalton to read from her body of work.

Three fine poets, good food and drink, and a lovely place to sit for the evening–what could be a better start to the summer? Join us! Bring friends!
