Apply to GHC Day planned for March 18 with application fee waived for attendees

Georgia Highlands College (GHC) is inviting the public to visit campus, meet with admissions counselors and complete a free enrollment application as part of Apply to GHC Day on March 18. Visitors can drop by anytime between 2PM to 7PM and get extra help completing their application.

Apply to GHC Day will be held at four of GHC’s locations: Cartersville site Building A/Student HUB, 5441 Highway 20, NE Cartersville, GA; the Paulding site Bagby Building on the second floor, 25 Courthouse Square Dallas, GA; the Floyd Campus McCorkle Building main lobby, 3175 Cedartown Hwy., Rome, GA; and the Marietta site, 1090 Northchase Parkway, Suite 150, Marietta, GA.

The event is a great opportunity to tour campus, get assistance with completing an application, learn how to obtain sealed transcripts from previous institutions, ask questions and much more.

Students with a high school GPA of 2.0 or higher are automatically accepted into GHC. Interested applicants are asked to bring sealed transcripts to Apply to GHC Day if they are available.

GHC offers in-person, remote and hybrid classes to fit any schedule. There are more than 40 areas of study, including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Natural Resources designed to meet everchanging local workforce needs.

Additionally, students could have the opportunity to use the same financial aid options during the summer as they can in the fall or spring, such as the HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship. A full breakdown of the summer financial aid process can be found by clicking here. Scholarships are also available and can be found by clicking here

You can learn more about GHC and contact an admissions counselor by completing the college’s admissions inquiry form.

The $30 application fee will be waived for all GHC applicants through the end of March. You can also complete your application online.
