Coach JJ Merritt, Head Coach Men’s Basketball, was recognized at the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) meeting on August 3rd for his 10 years of service to the association.  Coach Merritt is set to begin his 11th year here at GHC, and his 5th year as Head Coach of the men’s basketball program.  In his four years at the helm of the program, Coach Merritt has guided the Chargers to an 84-33 overall record and a 54-10 record in the GCAA.  The Chargers have also won three consecutive GCAA regular season titles.  Coach Merritt is pictured with David Elder, GCAA Commissioner.
