 USG Well-being Postcard Perfect Trek Step Challenge

Get ready for some healthy competition with the next virtual step challenge. As you and your team members increase your steps, you’ll discover breathtaking natural scenery. The more active you are, the more of North America you’ll see! Earn 2,000 points for tracking your steps each week of the challenge. The winning institution will take home the Traveling Trophy!

Dates

  • This challenge starts on March 13 at 12 a.m. and ends on April 23 at 11:59 p.m.
  • You can join your team at any time during the challenge but be sure to stick around to the end! If you drop out, you won’t be able to rejoin the fun.
  • The last chance to upload your steps is April 24 at 11:59 p.m. Steps uploaded after this date won’t be counted in the final results. Try uploading daily-it’s more fun!

Teams

  • Teams can have up to 10 participants and all team participants must be from the same USG institution that they belong to.

Scores

  • Team scores are based on total team steps.
  • The more steps your team gets, the better your score. To contribute to your team score, upload steps from a fitness tracker or app.
  • You can get credit for a maximum of 30,000 steps per day (so aim high}!
  • To qualify for the Traveling Trophy, at least 40% of the institution’s eligible population must be enrolled on the USG Well-being platform and the institution must have at least 3% of eligible population or 25 participants enrolled in the challenge (whichever is greater).

Good to Know

  • The Postcard Perfect Trek Step Challenge is a motivational metaphor. You are unlocking virtual destinations based on the number of steps you take in your activities.

Join

  • Sign in or register your USG Well-being account at ourwellbeing.usg.edu > Social > Challenges.
  • Connect an activity tracker to your app to make it easier to track and get credit for all your hard-earned steps. If you don’t have access to an activity tracker, you can also use an app on your smartphone or manually enter your steps.
