Registration Open for USG Well-being Presents: Food & You

USG Well-being Presents Food & You banner. Presented by USG Faculty and Staff Melissa Brillhart (UWG) and Ryan Smith (GSU)USG Well-being is excited to announce Food & You, a new well-being program that highlights the importance of nutrition on all aspects of wellness. Click here to register through the USG Well-being/Virgin Pulse website.

Facilitated by two engaging and energetic registered dietitians, this 4-week program will cover a variety of nutrition topics each week. You learn new recipes and participate in challenges to improve your diet!

Along the way, you’ll discover the connections between food, physical health, emotional well-being, your environment, and your brain.

This program consists of:

  • Pre & post-program surveys
  • Live webinar sessions (4 total, offered weekly on Tuesdays)
  • Weekly Healthy Habit challenges (4 total)

After registration*, you will receive an email with the pre-survey and a calendar invite with the webinar links.

Earn 3,000 points (1x/year) when you complete all the program requirements. Partial credit will not be awarded.

Important Dates:

  • Registration: February 20 – March 5
  • Session 1: Food & Your Health | March 7 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM
  • Session 2: Food & Your Emotions | March 14 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM
  • Session 3: Food & Your Environment | March 21 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM
  • Session 4: Food & Your Brain | March 28 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM

If you missed registration for, or can’t participate in, the March session, Food & You will be offered again in September. Stay tuned for those dates!

*Registration is through USG Well-being/Virgin Pulse platform. Non-healthcare enrolled employees may participate but will not earn points/credit.
