New GHC students will be on a campus near you in the next few weeks for their on campus orientation. This is different than previous on campus orientations (pre-pandemic) and called “Welcome to Campus Orientation”. The majority of these students are registered for fall classes already and have attended a Virtual Orientation session.
We plan to host between 60 and 200 students for each Welcome to Campus Orientation. During their time on campus, they will attend breakout sessions, which will prepare them for their time at GHC. These sessions include an academic presentation, how to pay for college, how to access student accounts, advising requirements, student resources/services, getting involved with clubs and organizations, and a tour of campus.

Tuesday, August 2 – Cartersville – 2PM
Thursday, August 4 – Marietta – 2PM
Tuesday, August 9 – Cartersville – 10AM
Wednesday, August 10 – Marietta – 10AM
Thursday, August 11 – Floyd – 10AM
Friday, August 12 – Paulding – 10AM
