Next Week’s CETL Workshops

Zoom How-To

Zoom is the web-conferencing software of choice these days, but who has time to figure out how to use it? This session will explore the basics, plus screen sharing, recording, polling, and attendance records. Want to know how to do something else in Zoom? Additional possible topics include the whiteboard, annotation tool, chat settings and non-verbal feedback. Comment below to let me know what you’re most interested in learning how to do. I’ll do my best to come with an answer, or we’ll figure it out together! A recording with be shared with registered participants.

Engaging Students with Educational Technologies

Students learn better when they are engaged in course content, but engaging them can be challenging. Educational technologies can help! Join us for an experiential overview of Flipgrid, Padlet, Hypothes.is, and Edpuzzle. Interested in particular functionality of one of these tools? Looking for a different tool to fill a particular need for a course? Leave a comment below and we might just be able to find something that fits the bill. A recording with be shared with registered participants.
