1. Make sure the camera lens is clean.
2. Make sure the focus is set properly- focus should be set on you and not on a random object in the frame.
3. For photos: experiment using flash, try shooting from different angles and perspectives, and do not use digital zoom.
4. Keep your phone steady and shake free for a sharper image. Try to prop it up on something stationary rather than hand holding.
5. In composing, consider the overall composition and shoot tight enough so you are the subject. Minimize distracting objects in the background.
6. Do not shoot photo or video with a bright window or harsh light behind you. Ideally, you want the light in front or to the side of you.
7. We prefer you shoot the video in horizontal (landscape) format if possible.
8. If possible, shoot video in a 1920×1080 format.
9. Taking and sending the files in the largest format possible always produces better quality.
