The Chronicle of Higher Education is still here to help you make informed decisions. Your institution’s site license to The Chronicle provides unlimited access for everyone whether they are on campus or working remotely.

Off-campus users will need an account to log in to Chronicle.com. If they already have an account, they can click “Log In,” at the top right-hand corner of our homepage.

If they don’t have an account, they will simply need to create a free account using their institutional email address (e.g., youremail@umich.edu). Our account-registration system will recognize your institution’s domain, and that will provide unlimited access.

Remote users can set up a Chronicle.com account by visiting this link.

Activating an account is as simple as confirming the user’s institutional email address by way of an email with the subject line: “Confirm your email address.”
