Consider Volunteering to Help Chargers Athletics

Hello Everyone,

We are in the home stretch of the basketball season. Both teams are having great seasons so far, with the Chargers currently in first-place in the GCAA conference and the Lady Chargers in second. One way the Athletic Department helps to support this type of success for all our teams (including softball & baseball) is through fundraising. On the Floyd campus this means running the concession stand during the home basketball games. Although we have a great group of volunteers, they are small in number and we are always looking for others willing to help. Spending a couple hours working concessions is a great way for supporters to help our teams continued success. If you are willing to help us out, please click the link below and see if a day and time work for you.

I know you hear it a lot but simply coming to the games and cheering on the Chargers means a lot to our student-athletes. We only have a combined total of 5 home dates left in the regular season for both teams (I have linked the schedules below). Every game is important with the men holding only a 1-game lead in the conference and the women only 2 games out of first place. Consider coming out and supporting your Chargers…and maybe buying some food from the concession stand. Let’s pack the Corral and help our teams bring conference titles back to Georgia Highlands!
