Shared Sick Leave Program

This policy provides a method for the employees of Georgia Highlands College to voluntarily participate in a Shared Sick Leave Program which affords them the opportunity to donate sick or annual leave to a shared sick leave pool for possible use by themselves, or another GHC employee who is experiencing a life-threatening or emergency medical condition or injury, or nuclear family member who is experiencing a life-threatening or emergency medical condition or injury, and where the employee has used all accumulated paid leave, which has caused, or is likely to cause, the employee to take leave without pay.

If you wish to participate in the Shared Sick Leave Program submit the 2020 Enrollment form to Human Resources by Friday, November 8, 2019.
