Please join us in welcoming Ericka Walczak to her role as an Instructor of Biology. Originally from Hudson, Michigan, a very small town about 45 minutes from Ann Arbor, she graduated from Adrian College (Adrian, Michigan) with a bachelor’s in Biology and Environmental Science in 2007. In 2018, she graduated from Clemson with a master’s in Biological Sciences. She previously worked at Chattahoochee Technical college as a part time instructor in the horticulture and science departments.
Ericka is an avid gardener and loves animals. She has four raised beds where she grows tomatoes, zucchini, squash, broccoli, cucumbers and cantaloupe. She also has several flower pots. Her newest is a Pineapple Lilly, and hummingbirds love it. She worked as a veterinary technician through high school and college for large and small animals. She currently has five cats, and is looking to add some dogs to the family as well.
Give Ericka a warm GHC welcome!
