CHARGERS PULL AWAY IN SECOND HALF FOR WIN

Behind five players in double digits in scoring the Chargers pulled away in second half for the 102-90 conference win. In a game that had 14 lead changes and the score tied 7 times the Chargers fought off a tough effort by the Titans of Albany Tech. In the first half both teams traded baskets with the Chargers holding the 1 point lead at the half 47-46. In the second half the Chargers turned up the defensive pressure forcing several turnovers by the Titans to extend their led to 15 with 2:20 to go and GHC closed out the win. The Chargers were led by the outstanding performance by Khalyl Waters with a double-double, 27 points, and 14 rebounds, Carl Johnson had 21 points, Chris Wright had 18 points, Dominic Ham 13 points, 7 rebounds, and David Greer had 12 rebounds.

The Chargers 21-5, 9-3 in conference play return to action on Wednesday as they travel to Gordon College, tip off 7:30pm.
