Food Insecurity is real.  GHC is here to help.

Did you know we had 443 visits to the Food Pantries for Spring 2018 semester alone?  We expect the numbers to rise in upcoming months. The Charger Food Pantries are on all 6 campus locations and can remove barriers that may keep a student from succeeding in the classroom.

Through our connection with the local Food Bank we have the ability to purchase large amounts of food at a significant discount! For example, 1 case of beef stew (24 cans) = $2.58.  And 1 case of canned chicken (24 cans) = $1.32.

Donations of cash, give us tremendous purchasing power, and even the smallest donation can go a long way!

If you would like to bless students in a very tangible way through the Charger Food Pantry, please consider making a monetary donation.  Your cash contribution to purchase the food for the Food Pantry can be given at any GHC business office, or to any Student Support Service office.  Checks can be made out to GHC, with Charger Food Pantry in the memo line.

Donated items are always welcome! However, with cash contributions we are able to purchase, in bulk, the items we know we need on hand for our students.

Thanking you in advance,

Angie Wheelus for the SSS team
