Lady Chargers drop home game to Gadsden State

The Lady Chargers fall to the Lady Cardinals of Gadsden State 83-79. Both teams traded baskets throughout the first half with GHC leading 37 – 35 after the 1st period. Gadsden State ended the first half with a 46-44 lead. Gadsden took control of the game from the onset of the second half pulling out to a their largest lead of the night 60-51. GHC fought back and cut the lead to 1, 72-71 but that was as close as GHC would come. The game  had 11 lead changes and 8 ties.

The Lady Chargers were out rebounded 47 – 33 and the Lady Cardinals depth off the bench paid big dividends with Gadsden State’s scoring 32 points off the bench.

The Lady Chargers were led by Judasia Hill with 18 points, Briana Davis with 15 points, Kateryna Khomenko with 13, and Ozahria Fisher with 11 points and 7 rebounds. GHC (6-6), and (1-2) in conference play return to action on Wednesday at home versus East Georgia State, tip-off 5:30pm.
