As you prepare for fall break, please be reminded of our 2017 campus-wide holiday planning to include all GHC employees at all locations. 

 

This year’s holiday season will begin with a cookie tour followed by a holiday sweater contest, vintage holiday photo games, campus-wide voting, and prizes. 

 

Immediately upon return from fall break, President & First Lady Green have scheduled visits to deliver fresh-baked sugar cookies for all employees at each campus. 

 

With the grand sugar cookie tour, the holiday sweater contest will officially begin with online submits. Be sure to plan your sweater entry now! The five sweater categories are: 

 

1. Best-Matched Couple
2. Cutest
3. Most Likely To Go Viral
4. Most Original
5. Most GHC Spirit

 

Photo areas are planned for each campus. These areas will be setup for casual phone pics: selfie or assisted. Folks who have opportunity to boast their holiday sweater pride off-campus – especially those for the couple category! – are welcome to capture that opportunity as made available. For the most favorable contest photo, choose a background of solid color and void of distractions. All photo entries should be emailed to holiday2017@highlands.edu  

 

• Limit one (1) photo per employee
• Entry email must indicate the sweater category number 1 – 5
• Must include employee name and GHC campus

 

 

The sweater entry receiving the most votes within each category will receive a $25 gift card at the GHC Bookstore. These gift cards can be used in-store and on-line at

The single sweater entry receiving the most overall votes across all categories will receive a $50 gift card for the GHC Bookstore! 

 

 

Vintage holiday photos will be collected for various trivia and guessing games throughout our December updates. Please send your vintage photos to holiday2017@highlands.edu 

The winners of these games will have their choice of prizes from a selection of GHC specialty goodies compliments of Marcom (GHC Marketing & Communication).

• 12/07: deadline to submit sweater photo, 12:00 noon
• 12/08 – 12/12: electronic voting period
• 12/13: winners announced
