Please join us in welcoming Amina Blackmon, Admissions Counselor, to our Georgia Highlands College community. Amina’s primary location will be the Douglasville Instructional Site.   

Amina was born and raised in Rochester, New York, and she now resides in Carrollton, Georgia. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Marketing from the University of West Georgia.   

Fun Fact: Amina has a Master of Cosmetology license for the state of Georgia and she taught classes for West Georgia Technical College.  

Hobby: Dancing! Amina dances with a nonprofit dance organization. It is her mission to help collect resources and give to those in need by means of hosting community events.
