As part of our efforts to improve services to Veteran and Military students and to connect our students to community resources, a representative from the Marietta Vet Center will be visiting each of the Veterans Resource Centers this month.
James Adkins, Veterans Outreach Program Specialist at the Marietta Vet Center will be available to meet with students and military family members March 20-23. Mr. Adkins will be available for Drop-In visits or scheduled meetings on campus from 11am-2pm each day.
Monday, March 20: Rome Veterans Resource Center, Room F-105
Tuesday, March 21: Cartersville Veterans Resource Center, Room 182
Wednesday, March 22 : Paulding Veterans Resource Center, 3rd floor lobby
Thursday, March 23: Douglasville Veterans Resource Center, back hallway
The Marietta Vet Center serves war veterans by providing readjustment counseling, family counseling, bereavement counseling, military sexual trauma counseling, substance abuse assessment, employment referrals, benefit explanation and screening for medical issues.
