Achieving business results requires aligning an employee’s individual goals with overall organizational strategy. This course helps leaders drive performance and accountability by helping people understand what is expected of them and gaining their commitment to achieving it. When leaders conduct effective setting expectations discussions, people feel more motivated to perform well because they see how their efforts make a difference.

Upon completion of this class and follow-up assignments, participants will:
• Establish mutual understanding and commitment to performance expectations.
• Accomplish business objectives by ensuring that people’s performance expectations align with the goals of the group and the organization.
• Gain individual or team commitment to fulfilling the expectations.

* Prerequisite: This is a prerequisite course for all other courses in the Management Development Certificate Program.
In order to complete the pre-work on time, you should register for this course at least one week in advance of the class date.
