Congratulations to Faith Miller and Song of Atlanta Chorus

A big round of applause goes out to Faith Miller, GHC Director of Human Resources.  The week of October 17th her Sweet Adelines chorus, Song of Atlanta, competed in the annual International Chorus competition. Choruses from all over the world, including Sweden, England, New Zealand and Australia compete to be named the best Sweet Adelines chorus in the world. The competition begins with a semi-final competition on Thursday where 34 choruses sing two songs in the hopes to make it to the finals. There are only 10 choruses who compete in the finals. Song of Atlanta placed as high as 4th in the world in 2010. Once again they heard their name called as contestant number 2 in the finals! The finals competition consists of a show package and they are known for the original and entertaining package they perform. This year the package was Chicago-complete with cell blocks and fishnet stockings! Faith can now say that she is a member of the 7th best Sweet Adelines chorus in the world! She has been a Sweet Adeline for 27 years and has sung with Song of Atlanta for the past 17 years. They rehearse every Tuesday night in Roswell and put on one big show in spring.
