Bartow Co Youth Baseball Coaches Clinic

CARTERSVILLE-Baseball coaches and parents of youth baseball players are invited to attend a free coaching clinic at Georgia Highlands College on Saturday, December 6th from 9:00AM – 12 Noon.

The clinic staff, led by Georgia Highlands baseball coach, Mike Marra along with Cass High School coach, Adam Williams, Cartersville High School coach, Stuart Chester, and Woodland High School coach, Corey Gochee will offer tips on how to teach kids how to hit, pitch and field. Marra will also discuss practice design, ideas for age-appropriate drills and how to diagnose problems in players.

The goal is to provide continuity in coaching styles and to assist students as they progress in skill from Little League through high school.

“I really love meeting the involved parents and coaches from the community,” Charger baseball coach Mike Marra said. “This clinic gives our coaches a chance to show how passionate they are about baseball.”

Registration is required. Coaches and parents from all youth leagues in Bartow County are welcome to attend. For more information contact Coach Mike Marra at mmarra@highlands.edu or call 678-872-8142.
