REMINDER : For a lively and entertaining time, come to the Floyd Library to hear author Renea Winchester Tuesday, March 11th at 12:30.

Everyone is invited to meet award winning author Renea Winchester and hear her readings at the Floyd Library Tuesday March 11th at 12:30. Renea was a 2011 nominee for the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance (SIBA) and Georgia Author of the Year awards. She will honor us with the first public reading of her book, Farming, Friends & Fried Bologna Sandwiches, which is scheduled to be released by Mercer University Press later this year. Renea’s previous works include Mountain Memories: True Stories and Half Truths from Appalachia and In the Garden with Billy: Lessons About Life, Love & Tomatoes. Terry Kay, author of To Dance with the White Dog, says In the Garden with Billy: Lessons about Life, Love & Tomatoes is “a warm, delightful and thoughtful story chronicling her friendship with the extraordinary Billy Albertson—the kind of friendship celebrating the best that life, in all its trickery, can offer. Simply put, it is a book of gladness in a world of fret, a writer’s gift to people who need the tenderness.”

Please join us on Tuesday March 11, 2014 at 12:30 for a lively and entertaining reading. Light refreshments provided.
