I wanted to let everyone know that this year’s Alabama Shakespeare Festival trip to Montgomery last weekend was a big success. The plays were very well done, and the weather was wonderful. It was great to have Dr. Watterson and her husband with us again and to have Dr. Ledbetter on the trip for the first time. Out of the 55 who signed up for the trip (our maximum number) 52 showed up for this 28th annual college event. ASF’s season runs through mid-May, and a musical will follow that. I hope some of you will try to go (or go back) on your own to see what is so special about ASF.
