Jesse Bishop has agreed to review a book in the next issue of Highlander, due out in April. His choice is Tony Hoagland’s Donkey Gospel, a collection of poems that reflect “surprisingly frank meditations on the credentials of manhood.” The book won the 1997 James Laughlin Award of the Academy of American Poets.
