Sharryse Henderson and myself would like to announce the date for the first annual Hope for Hague 5K Run/Walk. The Hope for Hague 5K will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013, on the Floyd Campus. While our original intent was to hold the event on the Cartersville Campus, we have opted to go with the course at the Floyd Campus to provide a better experience for the runners and walkers. The 5K will start at 9:00 am. The 1 Mile Fun Run will start at 9:30 am.

You may register for the race using the Active.com online registration system at the following link: http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=2082540. The registration fee for the 5K is $20 plus Active.com’s processing fee. Registration for the 1 Mile Fun Run is $15 plus Active.com’s processing fee. Proceeds from the Hope for Hague 5K will go to the Dr. Nancy Hague Memorial Scholarship. We hope to see a big turnout to support this great cause!
