Students walk around at the Cartersville site

College info sessions, tours and league sports showcase coming to GHC this April

If you’re looking for a way to spend your spring break and make moves toward your future this April, you can start by checking out the Spring Break Tours at Georgia Highlands College (GHC).

Future Chargers can register to attend 15-minute information sessions followed by walking tours April 1 to April 4 at 10AM and 2PM at the following locations: the Cartersville site student center ballrooms, 5441 Highway 20, NE Cartersville, GA; the Marietta site room 15016, 1090 Northchase Pkwy SE Ste 150, Marietta, GA; and the Floyd Campus Walraven Building room W-200, 3175 Cedartown Hwy., Rome, GA.

“With local schools being on spring break, our GHC Spring Break Tours are a great way for graduating high school seniors and their families to learn more about GHC, complete an application, tour our college sites and make those first steps toward earning a college degree,” Executive Director of Strategic Communications Meredith Bruno said. “Bring a friend, comfortable shoes, and plenty of questions, and enjoy this spring weather with your future classmates.”

In addition, future Chargers who are enrolling for Summer 24 and Fall 24 along with current students interested in competitive league sports have even more to look forward to by enrolling at GHC. On Saturday, April 13, at 3PM, the college will host a League Sports Talent Showcase at the Cartersville site gymnasium where all Chargers can show off their skills and learn more about volleyball, running club, golf club and women’s flag football.
