Atrium Health Floyd program provides tuition assistance at GHC

Atrium Health Floyd is now accepting applications for the Rise to Success program for graduating high school seniors, which will pay students’ tuition, books and fees as they work toward an associate degree in a healthcare field offered through the Atrium Health Floyd School of Health Sciences at Georgia Highlands College (GHC).

Selected applicants work part time at Atrium Health Floyd while attending GHC. They will be expected to continue working at Atrium Health Floyd for one year after they receive their degree.

The students will also be encouraged to pursue their bachelor’s degree and will be provided with a career coach to help them reach that goal.

Applicants must graduate from high school with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be at least 18 by July 15, 2024.

The deadline to apply for the Rise to Success program and the direct high school nursing pathway at GHC is March 1.
