Guardians of the Jukebox

Guardians of the Jukebox to bring 80s tunes to the First Highlands Scholarship Gala

Described as a visual and sonic highlight reel of one of the most influential decades in music history, Guardians of the Jukebox are bringing their high-energy live show to the First Highlands Scholarship Gala on September 29.

A wildly popular five-star nostalgia 80s rock band whose explosive performances are packed with smash hits accompanied by a video backdrop featuring music videos, music clips and iconic television moments from the decade, Guardians of the Jukebox will take guests back to the time of “Space Invaders,” shopping malls and the Rubik’s Cube, all while raising money for scholarships.

Watch a compilation of their live performances here.

“Guardians of the Jukebox is truly Atlanta’s greatest 80s tribute band,” Executive Director of Advancement Sarah Bradfield said. “Featuring world class musicians and Grammy nominated recording artists, they are a musical powerhouse performing timeless songs and put on a show you do not want to miss.”

Sponsorships are now available for the black-tie optional gala, which will take place on September 29 at 6:30PM at the Clarence Brown Conference Center, 5450 GA-20, Cartersville, GA 30121, at sponsorships.highlands.edu

By becoming a sponsor of the First Highlands Scholarship Gala, donors are opening the doors of achievement and success for students by ensuring that financial barriers never slow academic inquiry, imagination, or the drive to achieve.

“We cannot express enough gratitude for our generous sponsors,” Bradfield said. “Their partnership is an incredible benefit to our institution and our students, and we greatly appreciate them for joining us in our mission. It is exciting to see how together we can strengthen the broader community.”
