Georgia Highlands College students in the School of Humanities music ensemble, The Highlanders, and students from the MUSC 1100 hybrid course have arranged a live concert scheduled for April 25.
The event is free and open to the public.
The “Spring Forward” concert will start at 7PM at the Friendship Plaza in downtown Cartersville (1 Friendship Plaza, Cartersville, GA 30120).
The ensemble will present music from different genres including Classical, Broadway, Jazz, Celtic, and Pop. The group will be led by GHC Professor of Music Sam Baltzer.
In addition to the concert, GHC’s School of Humanities will have information tables set up for prospective students and their families to learn more about pathways in Humanities and GHC’s award-winning publications: The Six Mile Post and the Old Red Kimono.
Information tables will be ready at 6:30PM ahead of the start of the concert.
The concert is planned to be outside, but in the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved inside at the Family Life Center at Trinity at the Well United Methodist Church (814 West Avenue, Cartersville, GA 30120).
