Announcement
PeopleSoft Financials Update 5.40 will be applied from Thursday, November 29, 2018, at 5:00pm to Monday, December 3, 2018, at 7:00am.
The following applications will not be available during this scheduled maintenance window:
- GeorgiaFIRST PeopleSoft Financials production (FPROD)
- PSQUEST access
- GeorgiaFIRST Marketplace access
- Travel System
- ePro Self-Service Portal
All users need to be logged out of the applications listed above by 5:00pm, November 29, 2018.
GHC employees who use GeorgiaFIRST Financials will be required to use Single Sign-on (SSO) Authentication to access all PeopleSoft Financials services. This change will take effect 7 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018.
SSO is already required to log in and access other services (e.g., OneUSG Connect – Benefits) using your local credentials (i.e., ID and password) assigned by GHC Information Technology (Your network account).
- You will use those same credentials to log in to GeorgiaFIRST Financials including Self-Service Travel and Expenses.
- When you log in to a service using SSO, you will be able to log in to other services using SSO without having to re-enter your credentials.
- The URL to access GeorgiaFIRST Financials will not change:
o GeorgiaFIRST Financial practitioners (core users) will continue go to: https://core.fprod.gafirst.usg.edu.
o Self-service users will continue go to: https://selfservice.fprod.gafirst.usg.edu
