The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) policy has been updated to reflect work schedule arrangements. The policy states that no employee should take a course(s) that requires him/her to be absent from work. If an approved TAP course requires that an employee be absent from his/her assigned work station during normal work hours, accommodations may be possible, depending on the needs of the unit/department and of the employee. Any accommodation will only be granted at the discretion of the immediate supervisors. Coursework should not be done during GHC work hours.
