Rome International Film Festival Scholars and Volunteers

Colleagues,
On behalf of the Rome International Film Festival’s Board of Directors, I want to invite your students to apply to be a Rome International Film Festival Student Scholar. The priority deadline for the program is October 25.

RIFF, which runs November 9-12, has partnered with the Rome Area Council for the Arts (RACA) to sponsor 10 students from your institution to attend this year’s RIFF as Student Scholars. We are excited about this new opportunity and hope that you’ll read more about this program on the RIFF website. Scholars will receive passes to all films and workshops, with the expectation that they review some of the films they watch. This is an excellent opportunity for your students to engage with the growing film industry in our state and to gain some practical, publishable experience!
Please encourage your students participate in our Student Scholars program this year. Feel free to share this information with others who may be interested. While we can only guarantee 10 Scholars per school, you may nominate more than 10 individuals; if we have additional passes we will allocate those on a first-come, first-served basis. Students selected to participate will be notified via email.
Additionally, I encourage each of you to be involved in the festival this year. You can find more information about our festival at riffga.com, and you can find information about volunteering at riffga.com/volunteer/.

If you have any questions about the Scholar program, about volunteering, or about RIFF in general, please let me know.

We look forward to seeing your students and you in November!
