The Corral was electric tonight as the Chargers roll to a 103-68 conference tournament win over the Bobcats of East Georgia State College. East Georgia keep the game close for most of the first half with the game tied at 19 with 6:48 left in first half. However GHC went on a 8-0 run behind D’Andra Bernard back to back three pointers and Ty’Lik Evans steal and score to go up 29-21 and extended the lead to 15 at the break, 45-30.
The Chargers dominated the boards out rebounding the Bobcats 52-37 and forcing 25 turnovers. The Chargers largest lead of the night was 36 points. GHC was led by D’Andre Bernard and Ty’Lik Evans both with 21 points. Kamar McKnight had 13, and Antonio Wade had 11.
The Chargers (30-1) will host the NJCAA Region XVII Final Four starting Friday. The Chargers will play at the Corral at 7:30pm.
