Jingle Mingle is a Georgia Highlands College annual event. It is held in the memory of Carol Callahan. Carol was the former chair of Academic Support who passed away July 15th, 2000. For those of you who are new to the college, this annual faculty/staff event involves each office/department/division that wishes to participate. We each decorate our offices for the holidays (and ourselves) and provide refreshments to share. Everyone drops into each area for munching and mingling. We don’t always have a lot of time to visit with each other during the year, so this is a great time for us to have some fun together. This is a great opportunity to see old friends and meet new ones in our GHC family. I don’t know about you, but I miss seeing everyone’s smiling faces. Before we leave for the Christmas break, this is one way to make sure to let our coworkers know how much we appreciate them. For those of you new to the college, this is a fun, and much anticipated event each year. You will love it!
Door Decorating
I know some of us are in frantic moving status (and a good bit of disorder) , but I’ve seen a few doors decorated (or beginning to be decorated) already. Send me your door location and I will send our lovely team of judges around to view your entries! Door pics and the winners will be posted on GHC Inform! I believe other campuses are doing something similar. Deadline for submissions will be December 12. The three competition categories are as follows:

Ugly Sweater Contest
From shimmering showstoppers to terrific tackies, the holiday sweater contest is sure to impress. Photos of sweater contestants will post via GHC intranet for a campus-wide vote. Employees across all locations will have an opportunity to boast and vote their favorites. Deadline for photos to be emailed to us will be December 12th at 10 a.m. Get them in ASAP! Voting will open that same day. Information coming soon on how to vote.
Sweater contestants will select one of three categories in which to enter. Please take your photos and send them by email to either myself at sbeideck@highlands.edu or Lillian at llong@highlands.edu . The three competition categories are as follows:
