There is a known issue with Absence Requests not always processing correctly. The Absence Request will show on the timesheet as needing approval. However, the Manager will not be able to approve the Absence Request from the timesheet or have access to the Absence Request via Manager Self Service>Absence Requests.
There are two ways that you can determine that the Absence Request did not process correctly.
Timesheet: Under the Absence tab click on Details for the absence request- if there is no information about the absence request, then the absence request did not process.
Time and Absence tile-click on Absence Request History-will not have access to the absence request.
You will need to email Payroll@highlands.edu to have the Absence Request deleted. Once deleted, you will be able to enter another Absence Request for that day.
