Please joining us in welcoming Sgt. Lloyd Owens to his new position as Police Sergeant at Georgia Highlands College. Sgt. Owens is originally from Birmingham, Alabama and currently resides in Smyrna, Georgia. He graduated from Clayton State University in 2010 with a Bachelors of Applied Science in Administrative Management. He then then went on to receive his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management from American Intercontinental University in 2013. He has previously served in Law Enforcement for 11 years in multiple capacities including serving as a Criminal Investigator, Patrol Sergeant, and also as a Captain. In his spare time, Sgt. Owens likes to travel and play softball for fun.
