Greetings Charger Nation! As we Charge into April, let’s take a look back at the incredible accomplishments of our student-athletes over the past month!
⚾ Baseball
The Chargers are currently 32-7 (11-4 conference) The team has been dominant, outscoring opponents 275-113 throughout the first half of this season and hitting 69 Home Runs in 39 games. With 10 more home games this season, be sure to follow along and check out their full schedule here!
🥎 Softball
The Lady Chargers started the season with a record-setting 19-9 record and have now improved to 26-12 (7-3 conference) With 6 more home games this season, don’t miss the chance to see them in action! Follow their progress and schedule here.
🏀 Men’s Basketball
The Chargers closed out their season with a record of 18-12, finishing 4th in GCAA. They competed in the GCAA semifinals against South Georgia State College to finish out the 24-25 season. Follow their journey and check out their schedule here!
📚 Chargers in the Community
Our student-athletes continue to make an impact beyond the field and court! Recently, members of our teams visited Cartersville Primary school to read to students during the National Read Across America event inspiring young minds and giving back to the community. The Chargers take pride in leading by example—on and off the playing field!
💰 Financial Literacy with Coosa Valley Credit Union
The Chargers had a fantastic time during their second Financial Literacy session with Coosa Valley Credit Union. They reviewed essential information on monthly budgeting and credit cards, and then had a blast competing in Family Feud to test their knowledge!
GHC Athletics Scholarship Fund
