CETL Programming Reminders

Hey, y’all! Greetings from your friendly neighborhood CETL! We just wanted to send out some reminders to y’all.
First, don’t forget our Relentless Welcome Challenge! The goal of Relentless Welcome is to create an environment where students feel welcome, heard, and supported. You can find the details here and can sign up for the challenge.
Don’t forget our FLCs! We have three FLCs running and there is still room for folks to sign up. We have Josie’s FLC on Imposter Syndrome, Rachel’s FLC on Generative AI, and Teresa’s FLC on Active Learning. Please click on the hyperlinked FLC title to sign up. The FLCs will start meeting in September so please sign up now to make sure we can get your books to you in time for your first meeting.
Finally, don’t forget about our Microlearning Modules that are available in D2L. These modules are self-paced. They will take you about sixty to ninety minutes to complete. At the moment, we have Microlearning Modules on Regular and Substantive Interaction in Online CoursesModular Course Design, and College Teaching. We will add more modules at a later date.
Staff, part-time faculty, and full-time faculty are ALWAYS welcome to participate in any CETL programs they would like to do.
If y’all have any questions, please do not hesitate to let us know. You can email cetl@highlands.edu.
Have a great Labor Day weekend!
