The Office of Student Engagement has announced GHC volleyball’s Fall 2024 schedule. The program’s sophomore campaign is highlighted by a trip to Florida in October, and the first ever home volleyball match at the Floyd Campus.
The season kicks off at Shorter University on Sep. 3rd as the Lady Hawks host the Lady Chargers in the Winthrop-King Centre. The Lady Chargers will then welcome Shorter to The Corral for the first ever volleyball match on the Floyd Campus before wrapping up September with a trip to Reinhardt University on Sep. 23.
The highlight of the season will be a trip to Florida towards the end of October. The Lady Chargers will travel to Tampa on Oct. 25th for a match against Trinity College of Florida before heading across the state to face Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville on Oct. 26th. This trip is preceded by a home-and-home against Toccoa Falls College Oct. 12 in Toccoa and Oct. 19 in the Student Center Gym in Cartersville.
Tentative matches are also in negotiations against other schools. The Lady Chargers already have Spring scrimmage matches in February at Gordon State Feb. 10 and in Cartersville Feb. 24.
