ETHICS: moral principles that govern a person’s behavior or the conducting of an activity.

What does that mean? How does one decide what “action” is  ethical? Is it a person’s actions? A company’s policy? A school’s code of conduct? Is deciding to be “ethical” determined on a case by case basis?

Making ethical decisions can be complicated and but the results of not acting ethically can have negative consequences.

During USG Ethics Awareness Week, Nov. 6-11, we at GHC will look at many departments and how making informed, ethical decisions are part of the daily process.
