“Set against the backdrop of the Black Lives Matter protests, Curtis is a young African-American struggling through his days in America, but who he is depends entirely on who is watching…” (Taken from the website, www.TheseFinalHours.com)

There will be two screenings, each with a panel discussion afterwards—Marietta, 12:30-1:45p and Cartersville, 3:30-4:45p. Free food provided by Southern Comforts Catering.
While students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend, students interested in social issues and/or film production may find this event particularly interesting. The screening and panel discussion will be moderated GHC’s own, Dr. Bentley Gibson, and will highlight her research on implicit bias and modern racism.
The goal: “To contribute to the Diversity and Inclusion discussion by tackling the issues of unconscious racial bias and their repercussions throughout our society.” (Taken from the website, www.TheseFinalHours.com)
This event is sponsored by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, Division of Social Sciences and Education, Student Engagement, Center for Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation, Brother 2 Brother, and Southern Comforts Catering.
