Thanksgiving Holiday

GHC has three holidays with pay for all full-time benefit eligible employees next week for the Thanksgiving holiday. Wednesday and Thursday eight (8) hour paid holidays. Friday will be four (4) hours.

Since the normal workday is 9 hours, employees will need to:

• Request vacation for the 1 hour for Wednesday and Thursday
OR
• Work additional time on Monday, November 21st or Tuesday, November 22nd


Please discuss with your supervisor the best arrangement.

The paid holidays are:

Wednesday, November 23rd- 8 hours
Thanksgiving Day, November 24th -8 hours
Black Friday, November 25th- 4 hours


Payroll is updating records that were not uploaded by Shared Services correctly.
