If you’re thinking of retiring and enrolled in TRS, we recommend you contact TRS for a retirement benefit estimate and to discuss the various plans of retirement. If you are considering retiring within the next two years, we recommend that you speak with one of their retirement counselors. A retirement calculation will be prepared for you, using your actual date of retirement, and the service and salary information TRS has on file for you.

If you have your retirement date, please notify GHC HR in writing of the date you intend to retire and we will update your records.

Please remember if you have any unused Sick Time, this sick time can be used to increase your service time when you retire.

Don’t let a lack of information create problems for you as you plan your retirement.
