The following IT Policies have been updated and approved by President’s Cabinet:

IT.PO.240 – Data Classification and Security

This policy defines the classification and security requirements of data that Georgia Highlands College protects from unauthorized access and/or unintentional disclosure. Data covered by this policy includes, but is not limited to, information that is either stored or shared by any means. This includes electronic records, paper records, and information shared verbally or visually (such as telephone and video conferencing).

IT.PL.500 – Enterprise Information Security Plan

This plan defines the Information Security Program of Georgia Highlands College, including the roles and management responsibilities of the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer.
