Before taking on her role as a full-time dental hygiene instructor at Georgia Highlands College (GHC), Alania Henderson spent nearly two decades working in general dentistry and periodontics, including six years of mission-based dentistry in Central America.
Serving with the Honduras Baptist Dental Mission for the first two years in Central America, Henderson worked with U.S.-based medical and dental teams that traveled to Honduras to serve the people in remote locations throughout the country.
