Dare to LeadDare to Lead

Fall 2021-Spring 2022  |  Format TBD by Participants  |  Facilitator: Josie Baudier

New York Times Best Selling Author, Brene Brown, keeps us honest with her book Dare to Lead. In this FLC, we will explore leadership through Brown’s book focusing on vulnerability, values, trust, and failures. Brown states that “Leadership is not about titles or the corner office. It’s about the willingness to step up, put yourself out there, and lean into courage. The world is desperate for braver leaders. It’s time for all of us to step up.” The participants of this group will read Dare to Lead and use the accompanying workbook to learn to put Brown’s skills into action. The participants will collaborate to create a reading and meeting schedule. Copies of the book are available at no charge to the first 15 registrants. Additional copies are available in the GHC library.
