After their OT loss in the GCAA title game, April 11 has been circled on the Lady Chargers’ calendar. That’s the day that the at-large bids for the NJCAA National Tournament in Lubbock, TX were announced. When the selections were revealed, the Lady Chargers were in the tournament as the 13th seed. They will take on the #20 seed Southern Idaho at 7:00PM on April 19.

The Lady Chargers finished their season 20-3 with all 3 losses coming to higher-ranked teams and two coming in overtime. They won the GCAA regular season title, finished 2nd in the conference tournament, and swept the GCAA Freshman-of-the-Year, Player-of-the-Year, and Coach-of-the-Year awards, making it one of the most successful seasons in Lady Charger history. The team will now make its second trip to the National Tournament in program history.
