We hope to see you (virtually) at the 4th Annual Highlands Writers Conference this year! We’re excited to announce our schedule for Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021. All events are virtual, and registration is free.

The Highlands Writers Conference is open to anyone interested in writing at any level of ability or publishing history. The HWC is unique in that it offers very close encounters with nationally recognized professional writers across a wide range of genres. Attendees of the HWC speak highly of how down-to-earth our conference is, how casual and open it is to all levels of writers. We hope all attendees will feel encouraged to keep working on their dream projects and even start new ones!
What sets this conference apart from those of years’ past?
We have two big differences this year: we are virtual, and we are free! There is no cost to attend our virtual workshops and talks, which will be held via Zoom. All interested attendees will need to register at hwc.highlands.edu to get the Zoom links, but there is no cost involved. Stay for the whole day, or drop in for one or two workshops. We will even mail everyone free HWC4 t-shirts!
Is there a deadline for registration?
There is no deadline for registration. We will cap all workshop sessions at 20 people. Register early to make sure you get a spot!
How do I find out more?
Please register via our online portal at hwc.highlands.edu OR by emailing hwc@highlands.edu. And look for us on Facebook! We can’t wait to spend the day with you on Saturday, Feb. 27, talking about writing!
